William S. Gay Senior Faculty Fellow
ROBERT DAVIDSON, an assistant professor of accounting and information systems, was named the William S. Gay Senior Faculty Fellow for teaching and research excellence. His research examines issues such as income statement and balance sheet fraud, insider trading activities, and executive equity compensation. Davidson joined Virginia Tech in 2017. The fellowship was established by alumni and friends of William S. Gay, who was the first head of the Department of Accounting.
