    Dilip Kumar Shome, professor emeritus of finance, died Dec. 7, 2018. Shome joined Virginia Tech in 1983. Edward R. (Ed) Clayton, professor emeritus of business information technology, died Feb. 10, 2019. Clayton joined Virginia Tech in 1968.
