Meet the Pamplin Peer Advising Team
Mission Statement
Pamplin Peer Advisors are trained student leaders who support their peers in taking ownership of their academic decisions, while offering assistance, resources, and personal perspectives.
Peer advisors assist students in the following ways
- Sharing their personal experiences and perspectives as a VT student
- Registering for courses and using the add/drop system via HokieSpa
- Discussing academic success strategies, course selections, and majors/minors
- Referring students to support services such as career services, international programs, and tutoring
- Helping students find opportunities to get involved in student organizations
