Why did you pick your major and what’s your dream job?
According to the results of my career development questionnaire, finance is the best fit for me and also what I like. It has always been my goal to develop my talents in the ever-changing financial market. Working in finance brings a new challenge every day, and I enjoy meeting the unknown and the challenge! My dream job is working at NYSE or Nasdaq.
What advice do you have for Pamplin students?
Fit in collectively but focus on your own thing. Everyone's career path is different and we don't need to create needless anxiety for ourselves.
Where have you interned, what did you do, and how was your experience?
I worked in a global payments enablement and software company, interned in sales, education. It was the most wonderful experience I've ever had. Communicating with people of different ages, countries, and cultural backgrounds will equally enrich my eyes and experience, and hone my way of negotiating.
What is your favorite part about being a peer advisor?
I always try to avoid unnecessary troubles for peers as much as possible, and extract the essence and summarize the direction from our experience to export to new students. I hope all of our students can make the most of our 4 years at Pamplin.
