Developing Skills for NextGen Business Needs

Pamplin+: A Next-Gen Business Curriculum

At the Pamplin College of Business, your education is more than a collection of courses. It is Pamplin+, an experiential learning curriculum that connects foundational business knowledge with AI-enhanced learning, hands-on projects, modern business tools, and meaningful opportunities beyond the classroom. Pamplin+ makes your education more practical, more relevant, and more impactful from your very first semester.

Success for All

Every student in Pamplin benefits from a curriculum built around four essential pillars that drive learning and long-term success. Through high-impact co-curricular experiences, hands-on classroom learning with AI and emerging technologies, progressional cross-disciplinary cohort projects, and a strong foundation in core business disciplines, students gain the skills and confidence needed to drive decisions in a dynamic business world. The Pamplin+ curriculum connects these four components to ensure that all students have the opportunity to develop professional business skills that align with their career interests.

Turning Potential Into Results

Pamplin gives students the tools, experiences, and confidence to move from learning about business to doing business. Through hands-on courses taught by faculty with real industry insight, students build the practical skills employers look for—problem-solving, data literacy, communication, teamwork, and the ability to adapt in fast-moving environments.

Preparation doesn’t happen in the classroom alone. Career advising, internships, student organizations, and a powerful alumni and employer network help students explore interests, test ideas, and connect directly with opportunities. By the time they graduate, Pamplin students have experience they can talk about, relationships that open doors, and the confidence to step into their first role ready to contribute.

These outcomes reflect that advantage. When students are supported, challenged, and surrounded by people committed to their success, they turn potential into real momentum for their futures.
