Leanne Brownlee

Responsibilities

Leanne is responsible for advising a portion of the freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors in the Pamplin College of Business.  She is also one of the coordinators of the Pamplin Peer Advising program.

Biography

Originally from Pennsylvania, Leanne came to Virginia to attend Radford University.  She earned her B.S. in English in 1994 and fell in love with this area.  Deciding to stay she began her career at Virginia Tech.  For over 20 years Leanne worked in the Finance Department in Pamplin, assisting both faculty and students.  With her passion for advising and helping students navigate the academic landscape she accepted a position in the Pamplin Academic Advising office.

When not advising students, Leanne can usually be found competing with her dogs or binge watching fantasy/science fiction TV shows.
