After a long career in sales, product development, and entrepreneurship, Wanda joined the Pamplin Advancement team part-time in 2019 to help coordinate the very first Pamplin Advancement Summit. In 2020, just as the pandemic was taking hold in our lives, she became the full-time Lead Administrative Manager for the team, with responsibilities for office management, project coordination, and supervision of administrators.

Wanda holds a BBA in Marketing/Business Management from the University of Memphis.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Wanda and her husband, Ron, moved to Blacksburg in 2017 to be near their son’s family. Their son and daughter-in-law both work for Virginia Tech as well, so they are all involved in the Hokie family business!
