Begin with business foundations, team projects, and career exploration in your first semester. Whether you enter a specific major or Business Undecided, you start in Pamplin from day one and can explore or change majors within the college without reapplying.

Learn AI and emerging technologies shaping business

Build fluency in AI and emerging technologies through a required first-year course and integrated applications across the curriculum. Apply AI in business contexts, evaluate risks and limitations, and develop protocols for responsible and agentic AI use.

Ambassadors come from every major and background, reflecting the diversity, curiosity, and energy of the Pamplin+ community.

Pamplin’s Inspiring Possibilities (PIP) Academy is a ten-day residential summer program that gives high school students an inside look at business and life at Virginia Tech. Through hands-on classes, team projects, and meaningful interactions with Pamplin faculty, students, and alumni, participants discover new interests, build confidence, and experience what it’s like to be part of a business community that invests in their success.
