Career Treks
What are Career Treks?
Each fall and spring, Pamplin Career Services takes a group of students on Career Treks, overnight trips to Northern Virginia and other locations designed to connect you with top employers and industry professionals. These treks feature behind-the-scenes company visits, networking with alumni, and an inside look at career opportunities in the region.
You’ll tour offices, meet recruiters, hear from panels of employees, and gain first-hand insight into what it’s like to work at leading organizations. Plus, transportation, hotel accommodations, and several meals are covered — making this a free professional development opportunity you don’t want to miss.
Selected applicants will be notified after the application deadline. Before applying, please confirm you are available for the entire trek and speak with your professors in advance about missing any class.
