START from day one

Pamplin takes pride in allowing students to begin their undergraduate business degree from Day One! Accepted students start core business courses in their first semester, unlike many other schools where students wait until their second or third year to apply for admission into the business school.

To make freshman year easier, the college offers a peer mentoring program where upperclassmen meet and advise new students to foster a positive experience.  The program also has workshops tailored towards choosing a major and preparing a resume for internships.

From inside the classroom to out in the community, Pamplin Hokies get involved from Day One! Students are instantly welcomed to the college and quickly find communities where they will thrive through student organizations, living and learning communities, and all that Pamplin has to offer.
