2018 is now coming to a close, and with that there are many achievements to be grateful for and many successes to look forward to in the new year. First, I would like to reaffirm President’s Sands notion that Virginia Tech is in fact an institution on the move – and I am proud of the role Pamplin has played in that progress.
Over the course of more than three decades as a civilian employee at the Navy Safety Center, Bryan Davis, of Chesapeake, Virginia, honed many technical skills in data analytics, data mining, and database design, in addition to gaining a wide range of administrative experience.
“Knowledge and skills are essential, but it is equally imperative to develop yourself as a leader, teammate, and friend. This is the most important lesson I learned as a student in the Pamplin College of Business,” said Helena Snow, of Chester, Virginia, who will graduate from Virginia Tech on Dec. 14 with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and information systems.
