Student award winners announced , articleThe Pamplin College of Business has announced the recipients of the 2019 undergraduate student awards. The winners are chosen by members of the Undergraduate Awards Committee, which consists of one representative from each of Pamplin’s seven departments. This year’s honorees are seniors Caroline Rector, Jack Holland, and Julisa Perdomo Santos.

First-year business course raises over $17,000 for CVC , articleExperiential learning is a core component of the Department of Management curriculum. One course, MGT 1104, Foundations of Business, offers students a unique experiential learning opportunity – a project which allows them to start their own business while also enabling them to give back to the community. Over 800 students across 15 different sections from the Fall 2018 course gave back in a major way, raising over $17,000 for the Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC), a record amount for the course project and nearly half of the $40,000 total raised by the Pamplin College of Business.
