Executive Leadership

Corporate Correspondence Committee

The Corporate Correspondence Committee supports Career Services by reaching out to employers and encouraging them to participate in Business Horizons. This committee plays a key role in the sales process by helping identify prospective employers, crafting outreach messages, and following up with contacts to secure their involvement. Members also assist with coordinating networking and professional development opportunities for the team with employers and help manage employer check-in on the day of the fair.

Hospitality Committee

The Hospitality Committee assists Career Services in coordinating employer logistics such as catering, parking arrangements, and shuttles. In addition, this committee fully manages the volunteer program for Business Horizons. Members recruit, train, and lead a large team of student volunteers, as well as oversee volunteer scheduling and assignments on the day of the fair.

Treasurer Committee

The Treasurer works closely with Career Services and committee chairs to track the Business Horizons Student Team budget and manage financial operations. This role supports the team by maintaining accurate records, monitoring purchases, and assisting with fundraising initiatives. The Treasurer ensures the student team has the resources it needs to contribute to a successful event.

Marketing Committee

The Marketing Committee focuses on promoting Business Horizons to students and faculty. Members design creative campaigns to raise awareness, create content for social media, manage on-campus advertising, and visit classes to directly engage students. They also notify faculty so they can share the fair with their classes. On the day of the fair, the committee captures photos and videos and helps with live social media coverage to showcase the event experience.
