Securitas group shot

Cyber Mondays are required weekly community meetings designed to bring Securitas students together for learning, collaboration, and engagement.

Activities may include cybersecurity workshops, guest speakers, technical challenges, professional development sessions, and interactive community experiences.

Recharge Fridays offer optional social and wellness-focused programming that allows students to relax, connect with their peers, and recharge at the end of the week.

Activities include crafts, games, creative workshops, and other opportunities to build community outside the classroom.

Securitas students are assigned to one of eight Houses, creating smaller communities within the larger program.

Houses encourage students to build friendships, collaborate, and participate in friendly competitions throughout the academic year.

Students earn points through program participation, community activities, and House Challenges. Throughout the academic year, Houses compete for recognition, prizes, and special community experiences.

Each month, Houses have opportunities to participate in themed challenges emphasizing teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, and community engagement.

Tech Horizons is a spring programming series that provides opportunities for students to explore cybersecurity, emerging technology, and related academic and professional interests.

Securitas offers service and outreach initiatives that encourage students to contribute to the community, collaborate with peers, and make a positive impact.

Securitas partners with other living-learning communities, including Innovate and Impact, to create experiences connecting cybersecurity, entrepreneurship, data analytics, and other disciplines.
