Pamplin New Student Canvas Site

You will receive an invitation to join the Pamplin New Student Canvas site in mid-December. Please note that you must have set up your VT email address to be added to the Canvas site.

The resources in the Canvas course will help you learn how to:

• Review degree requirements
• Understand transfer credits
• Use the course registration system
• Prepare for your advising appointment

Before you can schedule an academic advising appointment, you’ll be required to complete two important tasks in the Canvas site:

• A survey to help your academic advisor get to know you and your goals
• A brief knowledge check to make sure you reviewed the important resources
