Department Student Advisory Boards (SABs)

• Accounting Student Advisory Board
  • The ACIS Student Advisory Board serves as a bridge between students and ACIS leadership, offering feedback to enhance the ACIS program, and to promote the benefits of the degree to all students within Pamplin College of Business.
• BIT Student Advisory Board (BITSAB)
  • The BIT Student Advisory Board connects BIT students with one another and with faculty, alumni, and recruiters who can help shape their careers. We envision a strong, interconnected community reaching within and beyond BIT — for this generation of students and the next.
• Finance Student Advisory Council (FINSAC)
  • FINSAC's mission is to enhance the Virginia Tech Finance student experience by strengthening connections between students, faculty, and industry professionals.
• HTM Student Advisory Board (HTMSAB)
• Management Student Advisory Board (MABS)
  • Student Advisory Board (MABS) helps to enhance learning experiences that improve career advancement, bringing greater experiential education, community impact, and professional enrichment to Management students.
• Student Marketing Advisory Board (SMAB)
  • Student Marketing Advisory Board, SMAB, the first of it's kind in Pamplin, represents a group of passionate and driven marketing students who work together to engage and inform fellow peers on what Pamplin’s Marketing Department has to offer.  The board puts a focus on welcoming and strengthening relationships with incoming students and acts as ambassadors for the Marketing Department.  Our members also work closely with the Marketing Advisory Board, our alumni advisory group, to help provide the best experience to our students.  Collectively, the Student Marketing Advisory Board is a proactive organization that works together to create a more inclusive, informed, and genuine channel of communication for students.
