Tracy Mendez Eagar is the Vice President for the Manufacturing Sector within Xerox Global Services, Global Account Operations. She leads and supports the Client Managing Directors for: Aerospace Segment to include, Boeing, Lockheed, Raytheon, BAE, Northrop Grumman, and Huntington Ingalls, Conglomerates as in; UTC, Honeywell, GE; the Automotive Segment including GM, Ford, and, Fiat/ Chrysler, lastly select accounts in CPG/Pharma market with accounts such as Proctor & Gamble, J & J and Glaxo Smith Klein.
Previously, she was the Vice President of Global Pursuit and Bid Management where she built out the global bid management process for the corporation. This included managing the portfolio of active mega deals, and aggregating resources to deliver world class responses.
Prior to that role, she was the Vice President, XGS for the Developing Markets Operations (DMO). There she was responsible for managing strategic direction and operational execution for XGS. Included was the management of the global and major accounts in DMO that encompassed more than 140 countries outside of North America, Europe and the Pacific Rim. Mendez joined Xerox as an information systems division representative in Richmond, Va.
She progressed to district marketing manager and district operations manager for South Florida, then Account General Manager for both North and South Carolina government and education. She was principal of strategy and business development for NewStarts. NewStarts focused specifically on developing new revenue opportunities by identifying and assessing emerging technologies from Palo Alto Research Center (PARC).
Mendez is a graduate of Columbia Graduate International Management program and INSEAD Executive Academy Program. Mendez earned a Bachelor of Administration degree from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va.
Mendez has been involved in a number of community activities including the Governor’s Progress Board of North Carolina, the Governor’s Advisory Council of North Carolina on Hispanic Affairs, the Wake County and Information Technology Advisory Council. She has also been a board member of the Florida Regional Minority Purchasing Council. She and her husband and son live in Austin, Texas.
