Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business has appointed Cheri Warren as senior manager of human resources. Warren started her new role on Jan. 3.

Warren will lead Pamplin’s human resources and employee relations functions, including recruiting, performance planning and evaluation, compensation analysis and benchmarking, employee engagement, human resources reporting, and more.

She brings extensive human resources experience to the college. Warren most recently served as human resources manager at Ozmo Holdings, Inc. Prior, Warren was human resource manager at Lawrence Companies, Inc., deputy director of human resources at the Taubman Museum of Art, and accounting assistant and acting human resource manager at Good Samaritan Hospice.

Warren earned a bachelor’s from the University of South Florida. She is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Warren also holds a Not-For-Profit Certificate in Accounting from the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA).

Warren will report to Beth Osborne, Pamplin assistant dean for administration.
