The Pamplin College of Business kicked off the fall 2023 semester in style with the annual Pamplin picnic. Held Friday, Aug. 25, the picnic saw over 500 Pamplin students, faculty, staff, families, and friends – including the Hokie Bird – enjoy a beautiful late summer afternoon on the lawn of the Holtzman Alumni Center.

Attendees were treated to a picnic-style dinner served by Professional Catering, Inc., while they listened to music from Pamplin alum, DJ Flex. Children, as well as some of the more adventurous adults, entertained themselves on an inflatable obstacle course, a bounce house, and a three-lane bungee run provided by Neon Entertainment.

Those wishing to cool off in the afternoon sun did so by treating themselves to complimentary shaved ice from Spoons Shaved Ice & More. Guests also had the opportunity to visit one of the 25 different student organization tables that were set up on the lawn.

Thank you to all of those who attended the picnic. Please check out the photo gallery.
