April 18: The Pamplin Pulse
Black Alumni Reunion: Living Our Legacy
The Black Alumni Reunion: Living Our Legacy was held in Blacksburg April 14-16, marking the event's first in-person celebration since 2019. Interim Dean Robin Russell helped kick off the reunion with remarks, followed by Janice Branch Hall, associate dean for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging, who discussed how Pamplin is working to build a model inclusive community, one of the college's strategic priorities.
In addition to the Virginia Tech Influential Black Alumni Awards, the fun and memorable reunion was a time to commemorate milestones, meet with current students, and enjoy camaraderie with fellow Hokies.
