A special 'Thank You' from Pamplin students for Giving Day 2023
For the third year in a row, the Pamplin College of Business outpaced all Virginia Tech colleges and units on Giving Day, with 2,683 unique donors – a 16 percent increase from 2022 – giving $2,556,240 in support of the college, both new Giving Day records. Virginia Tech shattered previously set Giving Day records, bringing in over $9.6 million in support from 16,841 unique donors, including some from as far away as Australia.

Black Alumni Reunion
April 14–16
The Black Alumni Reunion is returning April 14–16. Join us for what will be a fun and truly memorable reunion. The event is a long awaited opportunity and our first in-person celebration since 2018.
We will host our awards ceremony and hear from campus leaders. You’ll also get to meet our Black Alumni Society executive committee and learn more about the society, which works to serve our more than 10,000 strong Black alumni community
Together we will commemorate milestones, enjoy camaraderie, meet current students, and recognize the achievements of Black Hokies. Please plan to attend and have fun. We look forward to seeing you this spring!

The Pamplin community is invited to attend a fireside chat on Monday, March 27 featuring Ty Breland, '98, '01, '04, executive vice president and chief human resources officer for Marriott International, Inc. Breland will speak to his career and how his Virginia Tech experiences have helped shape his professional trajectory.
The discussion will be facilitated by Robin Russell, Pamplin interim dean, and Phil Xiang, department head and associate professor for the Howard Feiertag Department of Hospitality & Tourism Management.
The event is open to all Virginia Tech students, faculty and staff, and alumni.
