Learning Beyond the Classroom
Business students at Virginia Tech are not limited to the classroom. Pamplin has a number of ways for undergraduates to get involved, even as early as their first semester!
Different student organizations!
Student-led organizations like BASIS and SEED get hands-on finance and management experience, and regularly attend trips to New York City. PRISM, Pamplin’s student-run marketing agency. The school is also home to Pi Sigma Epsilon and Delta Sigma Pi, two co-ed business fraternities.

In addition to clubs and organizations, students may have the opportunity to attend trips like Hokies on Wall Street or visiting Coca-Cola headquarters in Atlanta. Simply put, there’s plenty to do other than coursework!
Pamplin also offers numerous study abroad programs throughout the year! Some of the most popular programs are the annual trips to Switzerland, Spain and Italy. In recent years, faculty have started new programs in Cuba, Dominican Republic and Belize.
