Clyde Jarvis

Vice President Software Engineering – Digital Platforms; Marriott International, Inc.

Clyde is an accomplished global digital technology leader with experience spanning hospitality, retail, healthcare and transportation industries.

As Vice President Software Engineering – Digital Platforms, Clyde will be responsible for our Digital Technology Strategy, Digital Software Engineering – Website and Mobile, Onsite Digital Engineering, and APAC Digital Engineering.

Most recently, Clyde led Product, Software Engineering, and Agile transformation at Prospero Health. Prior to that, Clyde was Hilton’s Digital Platform leader responsible for the transformation of Hilton’s Website and Mobile Apps. Over a span of 14 years at Hilton, Clyde led the integration of Hilton’s Digital Key into iOS and Android Apps, architected a unified Core+ Layer – GraphQL that powers Hilton’s Digital, Contact Center and Property-based Apps, architected and delivered Hilton’s Loyalty Platform, and launched Wechat, China iOS, China Android, AliPay & WechatPay in the APAC markets.

Clyde draws on 20+ years of experience building and maturing organizations in solution architecture, software engineering, product management, and agile delivery. He is driven by a deep desire to create strong collaborative teams aligned to transform technology and improve business outcomes

Clyde earned his bachelor’s degree in computer systems engineering from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He currently participates on advisory boards at Christian Brothers University and University of Memphis to help guide computer science curriculum. He is married to Ann and they have two daughters: Blair and Baylee. The family enjoys traveling, hiking, and volunteering to help provide shelter and nutrition to those experiencing homelessness in Memphis.
