Assistant Dean for Administration

Biography

Career academic and outdoor enthusiast, Beth Osborne is the Assistant Dean for Administration in the Virginia Tech Pamplin College of Business. Her passion for education started at a young age and that same passion is still what drives her today.

Dean Osborne is the chief financial officer for the college. She is also responsible for Human Resources and Employee Relations, Information Technology, Facilities and Capitol Project Management, Centralized Business Services, and Administration.

After college, she started her career in higher education and considers herself a proud, 1st generation Hokie. Over the last 23 years of her career in Higher Education she has had the great pleasure of working in both central administration and academics. These diverse experiences have allowed her to work with exceptional people to create new ideas and experience the joy that comes from a service center career.    

Beth is not limited to higher education; she is a yoga instructor and after all these years still holds a track and field record at her high school. She enjoys spending time with her husband Josh, and her family.
