September 2022 - Business Horizons
Pamplin’s Career Services team hosted 140 unique companies this year during our fall Business Horizons career fairs (one virtual and one in person), resulting in our first sellout since fall of 2019! We had a record number of student attendance between the fairs with over 3200 students in attendance at one or both fairs! Business Horizons continues to be one of Pamplin’s largest events, and we appreciate all those that help to make it a success each year. We’d like to thank all of our faculty, staff, and administrators that pitched in during the event, promoted the fair to students, and attended to chat with company recruiters.
In addition to two Business Horizons career fairs, the team hosted a Business Horizons Preview Day, Meet the Firms career fair, and Next Day Interviews all supporting the efforts of the Business Horizons career fair and giving students additional opportunities to meet with company recruiters. I’d like to give special acknowledgement to Hannah Landers, Abbie Bond, and the Business Horizons student organization for all of their hard work and dedication to making these events successful!
The spring fair is tentatively scheduled for early February. More details will be shared later this fall with the spring format(s) and confirmed dates.
