Julia Palumbo

Julia Palumbo - Senior from Richmond, VA majoring in Business Information Technology and minoring in Digital Marketing. Julia Palumbo has served as the Chief Marketing Officer of VT PRISM since March 2021 and as a member of the Deans Advisory Board of Students since May 2021. During her time as a student at Virginia Tech, Julia has been involved in a number of areas outside the classroom. Julia has been a member of VT PRISM since her sophomore year where she served as a Data Analyst, Account Manager, and now as the Chief Marketing Officer of VT PRISM. As Chief Marketing Officer, Julia helped lead the addition of new clients to PRISM’s portfolio, including but not limited to, Emisshield and National Settlement Services. Additionally, Julia led recruitment for VT PRISM which resulted in the addition of 24 members in PRISM, bringing the total to 64 members. During her senior year, Julia has served as a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board of Students. She has served along with a number of Pamplin students and worked with Dean Sumichrast and Dean Khansa to provide input and advisement on changes and improvements to the Pamplin College of Business. Outside of extracurricular activities, Julia’s personal interests include teaching Group Exercise Classes, cooking/baking, and spending time with her friends.
