Finance alum and business executive Brad Casper to address Pamplin commencement

Brad Casper, a 1982 magna cum laude graduate in finance from the Pamplin College of Business, will address graduating students, their families, and faculty and staff as the keynote speaker at the college’s commencement ceremony.
Casper is CEO of OH Partners, an advertising agency in Phoenix, Arizona, recognized by Inc. magazine as one of the fastest growing private companies in America for six consecutive years.
As a business executive, Casper has run big companies and smaller ones in a range of industries.
He has led such major brands as Tide, Dial, Olay, Pampers, Pantene, and Arm & Hammer — serving as president and CEO of The Dial Corporation in Scottsdale, Arizona; as president of Church & Dwight in Princeton, New Jersey; and in various leadership positions at home and abroad at Procter & Gamble for more than 16 years.
His roles have included president of the Phoenix Suns, CEO of a pet food company in Los Angeles, and executive chairman of a sports nutrition business in Dallas.
Casper serves on the Pamplin Advisory Council’s cabinet committee and chairs its student engagement committee.
He is also active in his local community, where he is a board member of Greater Phoenix Leadership. He and his wife, Kay, have three children, one of whom, Brody, will be among Pamplin’s May graduates.
Pamplin’s commencement ceremony is on Friday, May 17, at 3:30 p.m., in Cassell Coliseum.
More than 1,000 students will receive their undergraduate degrees in accounting and information systems, business information technology, economics, finance, hospitality and tourism management, management, marketing management, and real estate.
The Class of 2019 members who will receive special recognition are Outstanding Senior Caroline Rector, a finance and real estate major, and First Honors Graduates Olivia Hsu, finance; Mason Ratcliff, accounting and information systems and finance; Stephen Snyder, accounting and information systems; Kathryn Thompson, accounting and information systems; and Andrea Tse, accounting and information systems.
