Dean Robert Sumichrast, Jim Pearman '70, and John ’70, MBA ’72 and Phyllis M.S. ’73 Thompson participated in a beam signing, where they each signed a beam that will be placed in the Data and Decision Sciences Building under construction. It is the First structure for a multi-building project known as the Virginia Tech Global Business and Analytics Complex.

Pamplin College of Business Tailgate - Sept. 25
Join Pamplin College of Business alumni and friends before the Virginia Tech vs. University of Richmond game. A pregame tailgate will be held at the Hahn Pavilion in the Horticulture Garden. There will be a full buffet, adult beverages, live music, tailgate games, and more!
Virginia Tech turns 150, launches sesquicentennial
In celebration of Virginia Tech’s 150th year, or sesquicentennial, special events and programming will be held from July 2021 through December 2022. The university’s nine colleges will be highlighted, and Pamplin’s time to shine will be December 2022. Stay tuned for more news about how Virginia Tech and Pamplin will be celebrating this historic milestone!
