Pamplin honors those who have served at Veterans Day ceremony

The Pamplin College of Business honored those Hokies who personify the spirit of Virginia Tech's motto Ut Prosim (That I May Serve) at the Salute to Veterans Day: The Embodiment of Ut Prosim ceremony. Among the featured speakers at the event were Pamplin Dean Robert Sumichrast, Keynote Speaker and Army veteran Wanda Smith, renowned bestselling author Homer Hickam Jr. '64, as well as several other Pamplin faculty and students.



INSIDE GBAC SPOTLIGHT: President Sands speaks about presidential priority

At the fall 2021 Pamplin Advisory Council meeting, President Tim Sands spoke to the council about a presidential priority, the Global Business and Analytics Complex. President Sands thanked members for more than $20 million in private philanthropy given to the initiative, with another $8 million still to be raised.
