Sofia Ranchordas
Sofia Ranchordas is a Full Professor of EU and Comparative Public Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Groningen in the Netherlands and a Professor of Law, Innovation, and Sustainability at LUISS Guido Carli in Rome. Dr. Ranchordas’s research agenda is focused on regulatory policy and the advancement of innovation as well as the impact of digital transformations on inequality.
Dr. Ranchordas is an Affiliated Fellow (and former Resident Fellow) of the Information Society Project at Yale Law School and in the last two years she has been a Visiting Professor at Catolica Global School of Law (Lisbon), Brussels School of Competition (AI & Law course), IDP (Brasilia), and a Visiting Researcher at the University of Lisbon (Governance 4.0 Program). She is also a member of the editorial board of the Journal of European and Consumer Market Law and of several advisory boards.
