Rebecca McGill works as the Associate Director of MBA Recruiting at Virginia Tech. In this role, she works with prospective students interested in applying to any one of Virginia Tech's three MBA programs. Rebecca hosts Information Sessions for prospective students, and is always happy to set up individual calls with students who are interested in learning more about their MBA options at Tech.

Leigh Anne Leist currently serves as an Associate Director for Career Development and College Relations in Career & Professional Development at Virginia Tech. She has worked at Virginia Tech’s Smith Career Center for 24 years.  Leigh Anne leads a team that serves the Colleges of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Natural Resources and Environment, Science, and the Pamplin College of Business.

She received her Master of Science, in College Level Student Personnel at Radford University. Her Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology was received from Longwood College, now Longwood University.

During Leigh Anne’s 38 years of student affairs experience, she has worked up and down the east coast, from Atlanta, GA to Lawrenceville, NJ.   At Radford University’s Career Center, she served as a Student Services Specialist for 3 years and as the Assistant Director for an additional 3 years.  She has also served as an Assistant Director of Residence Life for Programs and Governments at Rider University, the Assistant Dean of Community Life/Director of Housing at Oglethorpe University, and the Assistant Dean for Student Development at Bridgewater College. 

She is a member of the National Career Development Association, the American College Personnel Association, the Virginia Career Development Association, and the Virginia Counselors Association.

Leigh Anne resides in Christiansburg with her husband, Steve, an Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager at Carter Bank and Trust, and their "furry children"; a dog, Eddie, and cat, Sox.  Their son, Carl, and daughter-in-law, Jenny, work at the University of South Carolina in Columbia.  Much of the Leists’ spare time is spent cheering on the Hokies, and now, the Gamecocks as well!!
