Academic Advising Sessions

Academic Advising sessions will take place virtually over Zoom between December 15, 2025, and January 15, 2026. Each academic advisor’s availability for appointments during this time will vary. Please note that the university will be closed for winter break from December 24, 2025 – January 1, 2026 and academic advisors will not be available.

Information on how to schedule a virtual academic advising appointment will be sent via email on December 11.

You will be required to complete several required tasks in the Pamplin New Student Canvas site before getting access to schedule an academic advising session.  

We encourage students to attend their academic advising appointment without family members so they can better connect with their academic advisor. There is more information for family members available on the Families of New Students page.
