JMahl A. Stewart

JMahl Stewart joined Virginia Tech’s Office of University Development as the strategic talent acquisition and recruitment manager in August 2014.

Prior to joining Advancement, JMahl was responsible for international and domestic recruitment for Walden University and Laureate Higher Education Group. He has more than 20 years of experience working in human resources and recruitment.

JMahl earned a bachelor’s in business administration from Walden University and is currently working toward his master’s in human resource management, also at Walden. He is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management.
