Jessica Grimes

Responsibilities

Jessica is responsible for advising a portion of the undergraduate students in the Pamplin College of Business.

Biography

A proud two-time Hokie, Jessica earned her B.A. in Communication and her M.A.Ed. in Education from Virginia Tech.

Her career has included roles in career services, student success, and graduate program coordination. She also worked in human resources supporting onboarding and new-hire engagement, an experience that strengthened her transition-support skills. Advising allows her to do what she enjoys most, which is supporting students as they navigate their academic pathways and develop confidence in their goals.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, getting lost in a good book, and working on creative projects whenever she can.
