Kayla Raymond

Responsibilities

Kayla is responsible for advising a portion of the undergraduate students in the Pamplin College of Business.

Biography

Before she became an adopted Hokie, Kayla was a member of the Tribe and a Buckeye. She studied Psychology at The College of William and Mary and earned her master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from The Ohio State University. She grew up less than an hour from Blacksburg and made one final move back to southwestern Virginia after grad school. She quickly found a home at Virginia Tech, first in Undergraduate Admissions and now in Pamplin. Kayla lives in Salem with her husband, Alex, and daughter, Paisley.

Outside of work, Kayla loves spending time with family, supporting her favorite sports teams, and watching almost anything on the Food Network.
