Matt Reppert

Academic Advisor

Responsibilities

Matt is responsible for advising a portion of the undergraduate students in the Pamplin College of Business.

Biography

Matt earned his bachelor’s degree in Communication and his master’s degree in Corporate and Professional Communication from Radford University. After earning his M.S., he worked for a resort as the Director of Recreation before deciding to pursue a career in higher education. He is excited to support and serve students in Pamplin College of Business as they pursue their professional goals!

Matt served as the Lead Academic Advisor for transfer, readmitted, and at-risk students at his previous institution. He helped oversee the university’s UNIV 150 academic recovery program, the New River 2 RU Bridge Program, and was part of a financial literacy committee. He also gained invaluable experience from his time spent working in the Office of the Registrar and Financial Aid. He lives with his wife, their six children, and their mini golden doodle Winnie in Radford, VA.

In his free time, Matt enjoys renovating his 1890’s Victorian home, spending time with his family, playing various card/board/tabletop/video games, and visiting the Outer Banks beaches in NC.
