Lauren is responsible for advising a portion of the undergraduate students in the Pamplin College of Business.

Biography

Lauren first moved to the NRV in the late 2000s for school and quickly fell in love with the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. She relocated to Virginia Beach to complete her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Regent University and began her career in the mortgage and real estate industry before transitioning to higher education in 2019.

Lauren spent four years in Student Services at a Virginia Community College, where she worked in Admissions, Records, and Academic Advising. In late 2023, she returned to the NRV and joined Virginia Tech’s Office of the University Registrar. Her passion for supporting students and helping them achieve their educational goals led her back to academic advising, where she joined Pamplin in late 2025.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews, cooking and baking, and exploring areas where the Wi-Fi is weak. Her latest and most exciting adventures include becoming a first-time homeowner and welcoming a puppy named Della.
